1. Steps - we can begin where you are and focus on what keeps you up at night or causes you to feel alone or small. Identify what (or who) has been holding you back, affecting your confidence and peace and limiting your true potential.
2. Talk Therapy - to draw out what hurts, discover where you'd like to be, and together, devise a safe, proactive plan to enable you to work through what troubles you, develop powerful coping strategies to promote empowerment, and for you to reach your overall goal(s).
3. Sessions - safe, supportive collaboration in each therapeutic session to walk you through your emotions, behaviours, and thought processes to help increase your awareness, improve your overall mental well-being, and solidify your next steps.
An anti-oppressive, anti-racism lens forms my practice, which is collaborative, trauma-informed, compassionate and intuitively plus strengths-based.
I utilize a mixed-modalities approach: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy based on your unique needs.
My DR3 comes with a blend of 15+ years of academic and professional experience regarding anxiety, burnout, career and life transitions, caregiver well-being, mental health, affair recovery, relationship issues, and trauma.
